Our Nursery
Your children are at the heart of every decision we make.
At A Class Nursery we know how scary a new place can be and that’s why we strive to create a home away from home for you and your children. Our aim is make your children feel as comfortable, happy and secure as they do when they’re playing happily with you and all their favourite toys.
Mirroring a home, our free flowing nursery consists of 4 rooms (including an area specifically for babies), a quiet reading space where children can explore the world through books, rest or sleep and a generously sized outdoor play area stocked with everything they need to climb, ride and explore!
What makes us different.
Islamic Ethos.
We maintain an Islamic Ethos throughout the nursery, allowing Muslim children to really feel at home in their religious identity. This means incorporating Islamic stories, songs, manners and etiquettes into our every day routines.
At A Class Nursery we also celebrate diversity, appreciating and respecting those things that make each child unique. Whilst maintaining an Islamic ethos, we support diverse language and cultural needs.
Collaboration.
We firmly believe that parenting is a communal responsibility, shared amongst family, friends and society. As the African proverb goes, “it takes a village to raise a child”.
That’s why we work in partnership with all our parents and guardians to build a strong relationship so that you’re always kept in the loop and we are always up-to-date with the latest goings on! Whether it’s through newsletters, one-on-one chats or via our parent board, we maintain regular and transparent communication.
Encouragement.
There’s nothing more empowering for a child than words of support, assurance and encouragement. We pride ourselves on believing in every child and their ability to reach their full potential.
So, whilst giving them the space to explore, develop and make mistakes, we’ll be there to guide and inspirit them on their journey to becoming little confident learners and contributors to the world around them.
Almost all creativity requires purposeful play.
Babies
Our baby room accommodates little ones up until the age of 2, giving our newbies all the space they need to crawl and explore in a safe and secure setting.
Toddlers
Our toddler room accommodates children aged 2-3 years old and focuses on giving them the freedom they need to explore and get messy!
Pre-School
Our pre-school room accommodates children aged 3-5 years old and whilst maintaining a child led environment, begins to welcome topics in line with the early years learning goals.
